About spyral

I have had some previous exposure to video/film making and editing in a high school class. My friends and I made a lot of goofy short films and had a great time doing it. Other than that, I'm a novice to to this field. It takes a lot of work and dedication, as I have found out recently! Check me out at Google+!

Studio Gaijin at Phoenix Film Festival

Studio Gaijin is excited to announce that our latest short film, Rigged, won the Audience Award at the IFP 2014 Breakout Challenge! The screening was Thursday, February 6th, 2014 at the Phoenix Art Museum.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped out on the latest project! This was our biggest project to date, and we truly appreciate the dedication of cast and crew. It was a pleasure to work with such talented individuals. We were thrilled to see our film on the big screen with many of our cast and crew in attendance. In fact, we had so many people there to support us, we won the Audience Award! Even more exciting, along with the award comes a screening at the Phoenix Film Festival, running April 3rd through April 10th. We are hoping as many people as possible can come to the Festival and watch Rigged and other fantastic shorts. Once we know the exact day and time, we’ll make an announcement.
